Getting your site ready for
mobile crib room delivery.
A useful delivery plan starts before the unit leaves the yard. Confirm the route into your site, the place it will stand and the services it will need. This checklist gives project teams a clear starting point for a Series 7 delivery enquiry.
01 — Location and timing
Give the delivery team the whole journey.
Start with the project location, site entry point, preferred delivery date and the hours vehicles can enter. Include the name and number of the person who can meet the unit on arrival. If a project has staged access or multiple work fronts, identify the exact area where the crib room will be placed.
Site Mate builds the Series 7 on the Gold Coast, QLD and delivers units for sale Australia-wide. Long-term hire is offered across Queensland, NSW and Victoria. Share your location early so transport and timing can be included in the quote.
02 — Access
Walk the route from the gate to the final position.
Check gates, internal roads, bends, turning areas and overhead obstructions. Note soft ground, steep sections, temporary fencing or parked equipment that could affect the route on delivery day. A marked-up site plan or a few current photos can make these details easier to discuss.
The Series 7 floor plan shows a 7200 mm external cabin with a 1550 mm drawbar. Total external length is 8750 mm; width including awning, steps and lighting is 2490 mm. Total height with air conditioning is approx. 3400 mm and dry weight is approx. 3050 kg. Check loaded weight, towing requirements and clearance for the selected unit before finalising vehicle access or movement arrangements.
03 — Placement
Choose the standing area for daily use and servicing.
Mark the intended position and check that the ground and access are suitable for the supplied unit and its setup requirements. Think about doors, steps, pedestrian routes, nearby vehicle movements and room to service equipment. Keep the path to amenities, kitchen and office areas practical for the crew that will use them.
Ask the site team to confirm any project rules for positioning, anchoring, barriers and safe access. Site Mate can discuss the unit and delivery requirements; the project should confirm that its chosen location and setup meet its own site requirements.
04 — Services
Decide how the unit will operate once it arrives.
Tell Site Mate whether reliable site power is available or whether you need the Series 7 Off-Grid. For off-grid enquiries, list the appliances and equipment you expect to run and when they will be used. Solar, batteries and generator backup should be considered against your actual loads; our power planning guide explains the questions to work through.
Also identify the proposed fresh water supply and wastewater arrangement for the selected layout. Confirm who will connect or service those systems, and keep the necessary access available after the unit is positioned. If the site has no established services, include that in the initial enquiry.
05 — Arrival and handover
Make one person responsible for the final check.
Nominate a site contact who can confirm the placement area is ready, guide the arrival and check the agreed configuration at handover. Record any questions about operating instructions, service points and equipment before the delivery team leaves. If the unit may move between project stages, discuss future access and transport arrangements when planning the first placement.
For a useful quote, send the location, timing, access photos or plan, intended use, crew numbers, preferred standard or off-grid configuration and whether you want to purchase or hire. That gives Site Mate a concrete basis for discussing delivery and the unit that fits the site.
