Mobile Crib Rooms for Sale in Northern NSW

Buy from a builder just over the border. Site Mate’s Series 7 combines a crew lunchroom and mobile site office in one towable unit, with Standard and Off-Grid configurations for the places your team works.

From the Tweed to Grafton and inland across the Northern Rivers, start with your site locations, available services and the jobs ahead. Talk directly with the people building your unit.

Close to the border

A nearby builder, with your site in mind.

Buying a crew facility for Northern NSW starts with the way your jobs are organised. Site Mate builds the Series 7 in Woongoolba (Jacobs Well) on the northern Gold Coast, QLD, a short run up the Pacific Motorway from the Tweed. You can talk to the people who build it about your crew, layout changes and getting a unit to your site.

That conversation can cover more than the first destination. Tell us whether you work mainly near the coast, travel inland or move between several towns. Our Gold Coast sales page explains the manufacturing location; this page focuses on choosing an owned lunchroom and mobile site office for Northern NSW work.

Roadside, rural or serviced

Choose around the services on the ground.

Many Northern NSW jobs are spread out, rural or roadside, with mains power or water some distance from the working area. A self-contained unit that follows the crew can suit that pattern. An established site with services presents a different brief from a changing roadside work area.

Series 7 Standard is for sites with power and services. Series 7 Off-Grid is for sites without power. Consider what is available at the intended position when work begins, and what the next site may offer. Review our mobile crib rooms for sale information alongside those requirements.

The layout brings together crew dining, a kitchen and two workstations. Use the floor plans to discuss how your team will use the space, rather than choosing only from an equipment list.

Across the Northern Rivers

One facility for breaks and site work.

Civil and roadworks crews, highway and bridge contractors, and infrastructure teams need to consider both crew breaks and day-to-day site work. Water, power and telecommunications contractors can use the same purchase discussion to plan a lunchroom and mobile office they own.

Land-development and estate builders, landscaping and rehabilitation crews, rural and agricultural sites, councils and project managers may have different working patterns. A portable lunchroom for Ballina or a work caravan for Lismore should be selected around the people and services at the job.

Tell us where you operate: Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, Murwillumbah, Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore, Casino, Kyogle, Grafton or the wider Northern Rivers. Location helps frame access and transport questions, while your crew routines guide the layout.

An owned unit between jobs

Plan the next move before the first purchase.

Owning one unit lets you plan for successive jobs instead of treating each lunchroom as a separate site decision. The next destination may be a rural property, a road corridor or a serviced estate. Consider those changes when deciding which configuration will follow your work.

Map out how often the unit may move, who will organise movement and what needs checking at each destination. Our work caravans information explains the combined crew and office role. The Australian buying guide helps you organise the questions to bring to Site Mate.

Water and power planning

Work through a full day away from services.

Series 7 Off-Grid has an 8 kW off-grid power system: 1.2 kW of solar charges two 314 Ah 24 V lithium batteries feeding an 8 kVA inverter/charger. A 4.5 kVA diesel generator provides backup with a 100 L diesel tank. Runtime depends on loads and weather.

List the equipment your crew expects to use, when it runs and how those loads overlap. Discuss that pattern using the off-grid power planning guide, without assuming a fixed runtime for every job.

Fresh water and waste water tanks are 500 L each. Plan how fresh water will reach a remote site and how waste water will be managed while the unit is there. Read the water and waste water planning guide and include both arrangements in your enquiry.

Custom builds and fleet orders

Set out what each crew needs.

Discuss layout changes around dining, kitchen use and the two workstations. Explain which activities happen together and how the office area fits the working day. Start with your crew’s routine so the proposed layout can be discussed against actual use.

For multi-unit fleet orders, note which requirements are shared and which vary between crews. Some locations may have services while others need Off-Grid. The fleet planning guide helps prepare a brief for several units. Confirm custom layout and configuration details with Site Mate as part of the purchase discussion.

Delivery and site readiness

Prepare the destination and check the move.

Talk to us about getting your selected unit to site. Share the location, entry route, access restrictions and intended position. The delivery and site-readiness checklist helps you prepare that information alongside power, water and waste arrangements.

Loaded weight, ratings and a suitable tow vehicle should be checked for the selected unit; see the Series 7 specifications. Buyers should confirm registration and towing requirements for their own state and vehicle. Include these checks when planning movement between jobs as well as the initial purchase.

Before you order.

Where are Site Mate mobile crib rooms built?

Can you get a unit to the Tweed, Lismore or Grafton?

Talk to Site Mate about getting a unit to your site in the Tweed, Lismore, Grafton or elsewhere in Northern NSW. Provide the destination, access information and proposed position so transport and site arrangements can be discussed for your purchase.

Should I choose Standard or Off-Grid for a roadside or rural site?

Start with the services available where the unit will stand. Series 7 Standard suits sites with power and services. Series 7 Off-Grid suits sites without power. Check water and waste arrangements too; off-grid runtime depends on loads and weather.

Can I order several units or change the layout?

Yes. Discuss custom layouts and multi-unit fleet orders with Site Mate. Explain the dining, kitchen and workstation needs of each crew, and whether units will serve similar sites or different types of work. Confirm the selected layouts and configurations in your quote.

What do I need to check before towing in NSW?

Check loaded weight, ratings and a suitable tow vehicle for the selected unit. Buyers should confirm registration and towing requirements for their own state and vehicle before arranging movement. Review the Series 7 specifications and discuss the selected configuration with Site Mate.
